A letter unaddressed ...

The year was 1988 on 6th of feb early in the morning by the pleasant humming sounds of birds a girl took birth at a simple lower middle class family. The family members were delighted, especially the father, he was busy distributing sweets all over happily. Yes you guessed it right the girl was the first "daughter" of  a family after five sons, the family got everything. Slowly and slowly the girl started growing up. The(family members) used to be very happy whenever the baby girl did any notorious activity. They named her Manisha on the name of "maha rishi manishi". Initially her life was full of joy and happiness, she used to go here and there have chocklets and various toys under her kitty to engage herself. She was free to do anything whatever she wanted. Then a day came when she was put to a school to be a learned civilized girl. She too enjoyed every part of her school-life, she used to lived a life of complete freedom. This was the initial stage of her life, when she was small favorite of all. Slowly she grew up and was promoted to secondary education and then to senior secondary and what she saw was a sudden change in the behavior of parents. They started objecting here for going here and there, "be in your circle, don't mix up with strangers, come home directly after school, no more playing, share your time with mother and help her in kitchen". But initially she was brought up in a different environment. she loved to play sports, mix up with everyone enjoy every part of life, .. but the family members wanted her to do something else. They were directed by the society as being a girl she has to be in a limitation. She tried to explain them that what she wanted to do was something different. in the meantime se passed her schooling came to college and made a dream to be a journalist or an Army officer. As she saw the world and realised it and made a definite aim. She again had to convince her parents about her dream, in a first sight they said, "why don't you choose another option, and have a safe side .. be a bank employee or a teacher". Even today they are not too happy of her decision they always ask her to have a safe option. Well they are also not wrong as the girl was their only daughter and they are just a little possessive about her. They wanted her sweet little daughter always be protected but the daughter has a distinguish dream for her.
